Frequently Asked Questions

Who are lessons for?

Our lessons are for anyone who would like to learn, regardless of shape or background! Our teaching style allows us to cater for those of any fitness level or background, and we pride ourselves in allowing each participant to take their learning at their own pace and gain confidence at their own personal rate.

Pole dancing is great way to tone up. We would encourage everyone to give it a go and see themselves change as their tone, confidence and poise increases as they learn this beautiful dance form.

Is there anyone who can’t attend classes or parties?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the work on the pole and for health and safety reasons, we are usually unable to accept into the classes those who are pregnant.

Flaunt Dance Ltd will make every allowance that we can to ensure that people can participate in classes or courses if they would like to, however, please note that instructors for Flaunt Dance Ltd do not have manual handling training.

Can we have spectators at our party?

Flaunt Dance is quite happy for spectators to attend parties as long as everyone in the group is happy with this. Due to space limitations, we would usually advise that there are no more than 3 spectators, although this does depend on the size of the party. We would also ask that you let us know in advance so that the instructor can be informed to expect spectators at the event.

What should we wear to a class / party?

You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in – as long as it allows you freedom of movement. As you progress you may find that you find shorts better to work in than trousers, but this is entirely down to the choice of the individual.
